  • Eduardo Tapia

    Eduardo is a businessman who has founded and managed several local and international financial services companies over the course of his career. He is currently the controlling shareholder and Chairman of the Latin Securities group, MACA Advisors’ institutional partner in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Latin Securities, formerly AR Partners, is the successor company to Raymond James Argentina. He is also founder and President of Latin Securities S.A., stockbroker and brokerage firm in Uruguay, and Latin Securities Inc., broker dealer in the US.

    He is also founding partner and Director of Delta Asset Management in Argentina. Additionally, he’s a Board Member of Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos (ByMA).

    Between 2008 and 2012 he was Vicepresident of the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange (Bolsa de Comercio de Buenos Aires) and, between 2014 and 2016, he was a Board Member of Merval SA (Mercado de Valores). He began his career at Banco Mildesa (now Banco Patagonia). He then served as Country Manager for Argentina at the British bank Barings Brothers and as Director of Barings Securities in London (1991-1995). From 1995 to 1998 he was Regional Manager Director of Caspian Securities for Latin America.

    At the end of 1998 he partnered with the American bank Raymond James to create three joint ventures in Argentina and Uruguay: Raymond James Argentina, RJ Delta and RJ Latin Advisors.

    He holds a Master Degree in Science at the University of Buenos Aires.

  • Diego Trucco

    Diego joined Latin Securities, MACA Advisors’ institutional partner in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, in December 2010, and has been CEO since 2017. Before taking his current role, he held leadership positions in the Research and Sales & Research departments. Prior to joining Latin Securities, Diego was CFO at Consultatio, a leading real estate developed in Argentina, and Head Latin American Portfolio Manager and Commercial Director at Consultatio Asset Management.

    He has a BA in Economics from the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA), and a Master of Economics from the Di Tella University. He is a CFA charterholder.

  • Roberto D'Avola

    Roberto is the Head of CIB for Latin Securities, MACA Advisors’ institutional partner in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Roberto has 30 years of investment banking experience, having participated in some of the region’s most representative transactions. Prior to Latin Securities and MACA Advisors, Roberto was responsible for J.P. Morgan’s investment banking business in the Southern Cone, and prior to that, served as head of Latin America equity and debt capital markets for J.P. Morgan.
